Keep trying to submit vat on line. Keep getting HMRC Error
Hmrc reported an internal server error (HTTP code500). If the error persists contact HMRC customer support.
Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

An HTTP status code of 500 indicates that the HMRC online VAT service is
down. Usually this is only a temporary gitch - please try again in an
hour or so.
If the problem persists you will need to contact HMRC as it is their
service which is returning the HTTP error code 500. If you talk to them it
may help to say that "https://api.service.hmrc.gov.uk/organisations/vat/ is
returning status 500"
