Solar Accounts doesn't appear to be on the HMRC approved list for "Making Tax Digital".

Am I missing something or is it yet to be approved?

Hi John,

That HMRC web page is a bit confusing - the software listed is "in
development" meaning it hasn't yet been approved. To see the approved
software click the "Use the tool" link - you should find Solar Accounts
Online comes up.

Not urgent, but are there plans for Solar Accounts to be compliant with "Making Tax Digital for Income Tax” in the future too?

We're still investigating the "Making Tax Digital for Income Tax"
requirements so can't give you any information yet - sorry
