I am treasurer of an amdram society and for each production I have accounts for income and expenses. Over six years, there are a great many of these, and I want to remove four years' worth of accounts and associated transactions. How can I do this?

Hi Paul,

Unfortunately Solar Accounts doesn't offer a way to delete transactions in
bulk. A workaround would be to rename the accounts to start with ZZZ so
they always appear at the bottom of the list. You can also set the From
date filter at the top of the Transactions list to hide old transactions.

I created a new Account Group ZZZIncome under Income and moved all the
old performance account groups into it. Ditto for Expenses. So now when
I open Solar I can just collapse all the old performance account groups
with a single click on ZZZIncome. I had found it quite annoying that all
account groups are expanded when you open Solar.
