Sorry but Solar Accounts is not designed for personal use. You may want to look at Quicken, Microsoft Money or Moneydance.

Oh Mark - what an opportunity you are missing - Quicken was discontinued in the UK in 2004, and I understand that MS Money is no more.
There must be more people like myself who want an up to date system to maintain more than basic personal accounts - several bank accounts and credit cards, etc.

Yes, we're letting someone else tackle the 'Quicken/MS Money replacement' opportunity. That is, we will not produce a personal finance application.

However, importing data from those products into Solar Accounts is another matter. A number of users have requested these features so they are on our 'to do' list (although we cannot make promises about future development).
