Month end closure

Hi,

I just wanted to find out is there an option to close period and post journals.

Hello P Kumaresh,

Unlike other accounting software programs, Solar Accounts doesn't distinguish between 'posted' and 'unposted' transactions - every transaction is 'posted', but can also be edited.

To transfer the balance of your income and expense accounts to Retained Earnings, click menu Setup > Financial Year > Start a new financial year.

Note that Solar Accounts doesn't prevent you from entering transactions into older financial years.
