Year-End Reports in Solar Accounts

I am very interested in purchasing your software.

I'm self employed and I have been testing the trial version of your software. I think it is great, but I'm failing to see how you can present your end of year accounts for an accountant to view.

I can take a guess that my accountant hasn't got the Solar Account software - so how do I provide my accounts to him?

I see that there is an export feature - but not sure how this helps

It would be really great to hear from some at Solar before I purchase this software.

Kind Regards

Hello Mathew,

Thanks for your interest in Solar Accounts. Regarding year-end accounts, it really depends what your accountant wants to see. Solar Accounts can produce standard financial reports such as Trial Balance, Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss. You can also print (or save to PDF) the list of transactions on the Transactions page (menu Window > Transactions).

The 'Export Data' feature is useful if your accountant uses Sage - he or she can then import the CSV files directly into Sage to see all transactions.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you need more information.
