Is the vat return working by date range only or does it flag transactions as dealt with?
Do i need to be carefull if i post an old purchase invoice, with a date in a vat quarter already submitted, i.e. will it put that old transaction in the next return?

Solar Accounts only looks at transactions in the period you specify to calculate the VAT return. If you have added or changed an older transaction, you will need to manually adjust the figures calculated by Solar Accounts before you transfer them to your return form. See here for an example of how to do this:
