Is there any way in which purchases can be shown in gbp but sales in euros? we only sell in europe

I'm sorry but that's not possible. You can change the currency (click Tools > Setup > Currency Symbol) but this will apply to all transactions - sales and purchases.

OK Thank you for your speedy reply We'll just have to raise invoices in sterling and reprint them in euros

I'm sorry Solar Accounts isn't exactly what you need. You may want to create two data files - one containing all transactions (including invoices) in pounds sterling, and another containing invoices in euros. However, you will have to switch currency when you switch between each data file.
