Hi, I am currently pricing a job for a new client whome I have not worked for before and would like to give them a proforma invoice for payment before we start the contract. My question is can I create a proforma invoice on Solar?

Solar Accounts doesn't have built-in support for producing a pro forma invoice. A work-around is to change the quote title to say 'Pro Forma Invoice' instead. To do this, click menu Setup > Customise Invoice > Field Names. Scroll down to the 'Quote Fields' group, then change the quote title to 'Pro Forma Invoice' and the ID to 'Invoice ID'. Now your quotes will be printed as a pro-forma invoices.
