I've been using your program for a while now, and I find it very good.
However, I have recently switched from Windows to Linux (Ubuntu), where Solar accounts doesn't seem to work.

Would you have a suitable version?

Unfortunately our software does not support Linux. The only operating systems we support are Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Java is the same on ubuntu/windows - you can invoke jar files, but I gave it a go and don't know why it fails to load the main class (sorry, Java is as much a mystery to me as any other over-complicated virtual environment).

Can the developers get a ubuntu CD and give it a go, you may find it a lot easier than you think... I'm afraid I'm not much interested in running windows in a VM.

Although Solar Accounts is mainly written in Java, it uses some Windows-specific features. We have no plans to produce a Linux version - sorry.
