I started my accounts with the addition of owners capital added to the opening balance. I now wish to add some more owners capital to the business but am not sure how to do this. Can you help please ?

Assuming you have deposited the new funds into the bank account, record a General Transaction from the Owner's Capital account to your Cheque Account.

Say my opening balance of was £2000 and this is shown as owners capital and I now want to invest an additional £1000 a month later ,how do record this additional amount as owners capital?
