Although not used Solar yet I haven't seen anywhere on the forum where it explains how customer credit card payments are recorded.

Credit card sales are recorded as a Money Received transaction with the Deposit Into Account field set to 'Cheque Account' (since the money goes directly into your bank account). If you want to record additional information (such as card type) you would need to add it to the Journal Memo field.
