10% tax credit on dividends

Hi there,

when you're recording a dividend payment, how do you account for the +10% tax credit that you have to declare?

Hi Caroline,

The 10% tax credit is for personal tax - it does not affect corporation tax and therefore it will not appear in company accounts (although it should be shown on dividend vouchers).
