Just starting to use Solar Accounts and will need some guidance :-)

I'm Self Employed - opened a Business Bank Account and deposited £1600 of my own money in two shots. How do I show this is Solar?

Do I change the opening balance in Owners Capital to £1600 - then do two general transactions to the Cheque Account?

Hi Chris,

Leave the Owners Capital opening balance at zero - instead record a General Transaction from the 'Owners Capital' account to the 'Cheque Account'.
