Back up

I am having problems with backing up since downloading updated solar accounts.
I normally back up to an external drive so I can work on my laptop as well, but although it states that it has been backed up, once I have unplugged from main computer and try to open the file on the lap top, or plug back into the main computer, it states that there has been a problem and cant open the files.
I have completed a diagnostic check on the external drive and it states that it is working fine, has anyone else had a problem??

Hi Carol,

Can you please tell us:

  1. What version of Solar Accounts are you using? You can find this by clicking 'About Solar Accounts' from the Help menu.

  2. If you save the backup file to your main computer's hard drive, can you then open that backup file? If not, what is the error message?
