Is there any way to stop the window scrolling back to the top when reconciling?

Do you mean when you re-open the window? You cannot change this behaviour, but you can just press the End key to get back to the bottom.

No - when I check the box to confirm the transaction, the window returns to the opening balance. If I use the End key that takes me to the very end of the account. What I'd like is for the window to stay where it is until I've finished!

That's very strange. Are you running Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7?

You can also tick a transaction by selecting it and pressing the space key - does this method have the same problem?

I'm running Windows XP professioanl, version 2002.
I move the cursor over the tick box, left click and the window returns to the top - very frustrating!

If you select the row (without clicking on the tick box) then press the space key, does it still return to the top?
