Rent Payments

Hi Mark

I am a Letting Agent & I receive rents from tenants. Once the rents are received various charges are levied against those rents & the balance refunded to property owner. Can you envisage any allocation problems with Solar ?

Hi Neville,

Generally Lettings Agents create 'Customers' to represent tenants and 'Suppliers' to represent landlords. When you charge your landlord a fee (eg. management fee) record a Purchase Credit Note allocated to the 'Sales Income' account. See my comments on this page for more details:
