When creating an invoice, if we have a name in the Salutation and Contact box for the Customer, it adds both to the email, for example having Salutation as Joe and Contact as Joe Bloggs gives:
Dear Joe Joe Bloggs
However, if we only include the Salutation it emails as Company Name. Is there anyway of amending this?
We don't mind getting our hands dirty with some coding if necessary.

Click menu Setup > Email Template, then change the Body field to 'Hello [SALUTATION]...'

That's great - thanks. This enables us to have a main contact and a separate accounts contact as well.
