our new finance person wants to use Quickbooks instead of Solar Accounts (shame on him i know) although i have no problems with this as i will still be using Solar in a different business but need to migrate from Solar to QB
my question is is there a direct/ easy way to upload data from Solar to Quickbooks? or am i asking this on the wrong site lol
Hi Wiz,
You can export the customer and supplier lists to a CSV file by clicking menu File > Export To > Comma-Separated CSV File. Then tick only 'Customers' and 'Suppliers' and click Export. My guess is that this CSV file can then be imported into Quickbooks, although I cannot say for sure.
For the transactions, you will need to manually enter these into quickbooks. One option is to choose a 'conversion date' then enter older transactions into Solar Accounts and newer transactions into Quickbooks.
