Hi i have been having a look t this software and i am very impressed i currently use quickboooks 2008.
is it posible to build a customised quote and invoice layout that allows input
ie we add registration number milage and vehicle details to our templates in Quickbooks.

I'm glad to hear you like our software!
Solar Accounts doesn't include custom fields on invoices, but I have seen some garages use the 'Purchase Order Number' field to record the vehicle registration number. You can change the words 'Purchase Order No' on the invoice template by clicking menu Setup > Invoice Template, then double-clicking on the text to edit it.
An alternative is to add vehicle details to the 'Free Text' section of the invoice (click the 'Free Text' button next to the Comments field)
