MYOB Business Basics to Solar Accounts

Hi. I've been using business Basics for a number of years on a Mac and have been informed that Company File verification will stop at the end of this year rendering the software (which I believed I had purchased outright) useless.
Is there any way of migrating data from MYOB to Solar, as I have no intention of following the suggested route to using Mamut software which is who MYOB appear to have sold their UK customer data base to

Hi Pete,

Sorry no, you cannot import data directly from MYOB into Solar Accounts. However, you can import data from a CSV file as described here:
http://www.solaraccounts.co.uk/help/how-to-import-data-from-csv-file.php

You will need to export the data from MYOB to a CSV file and then use Excel to match the Solar Accounts format. You will probably find this useful for importing customer and supplier details, but too time-consuming to import transactions. In this case, the best approach is to pick a 'conversion date', then enter older transactions into MYOB and newer transactions into Solar Accounts.

Regards
