We currently use the now abandoned Microsoft Office Accounting and are looking to jump ship. We have considered KashFlow but are not keen on the online aspect of it.
The majority of the invoices we create have a ‘Job Description’ at the start, usually a few lines but sometimes a few paragraphs, before we list labour costs and materials.
Is there anyway within Solar Accounts to eliminate the need to input the Quantity, Unit, and VAT for the first line of the invoice. This would speed up the creation of the invoice for us but more importantly be clearer for the customer.
Hi Phillip,
Yes - here's what you should do:
1. Right-click on the first invoice line and select 'Insert Line'
2. Click in the Description field, then click the drop-list arrow
3. Select 'Multi-line Description' from the drop-list box
4. Enter your job description and click OK
5. Leave the Quantity, Price, VAT and Amount blank
Cheers,
Thanks for the quick reply Thats is the problem solved! :)
We are still testing Solar but its looking like we will change over to it. Best Mac accounting app I can find by far.
Will post any other niggles we need help with.
Thanks again
