To print a receipt, select the payment in the Transactions list and click menu File > Print > Receipt.

I have been trying to create a receipt for an invoice payment received. I have followed the instructions provided but it is stated 'no payment selected in the list'

Hi Hanna,

It sounds like you have selected the invoice rather than the payment transaction. The payment transaction looks like this if you double-click on it in the Transactions list:
