How do I record use of my home as an office in Solar? I have created an expense account called "Use of home as office".
I am self-employed, so ultimately want to a) record this amount as an expense to the above account; and b) make a transfer from the Cheque Account to Owner's Drawings to this amount.

Hi Greg,
I take it you are making a withdrawal from the business bank account for the value of the expense. In that case there is no need to affect the Owner's Drawings account. Just record a General Transaction from the Cheque Account to the 'Use of Home as Office' expense account.
