Hi I know that solar accounts has all previous years accounts in one file
but when im hoping to do a balance sheet for this finanacial year but the report includes all years . is there a way around this as im hoping to submit this tothe accountant
Hi Paul,
A Balance Sheet report is a snapshot of the accounts on a particular day - you can set this date by clicking the 'Configure' button next to the report title.
Note that the balance of the Balance Sheet accounts (ie. assets, liabilities and equity) should generally carry forward from year to year. For example, if you deposit £400 into the Cheque Account in the first year and £300 in the second year, the Balance Sheet should show a balance of £700 at the end of the second year.
