Invoices with different currencies

Need to invoice certain accounts in Sterling, some in Euros and others in Dollars, but, when I change the currency for an invoice, it applies itself to all invoices.

Brilliant programme btw, after years of struggling with Sage, this is a joy.

Will definately be purchasing when the trial runs out.

Hello Mick,

We're glad you like the software! Unfortunately Solar Accounts is not designed to run with more than one currency at a time. You will have to switch currencies, print the invoice, then switch back again.

Regards,

Thanks Mark

Assuming that we then use a currency converter to convert to the current sterling equivalent before saving?

Outside of that, the software is great. Our final straw with Sage was them wanting us to sign up to a very expensive care package before they'd tell us how to set the default vat level from 17.5 to 15%.

In comparison, Solar is a joy to use.

You should probably create three separate data files - one for Dollar invoices, one for Euro invoices, and one for your main accounts in Pounds. When you enter an invoice into the Dollars or Euros file, enter a duplicate invoice into the Pounds file at the appropriate exchange rate.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need more information.
