Moving info to new file

Due to a change in the business, I need to move everything from a certain date to a total new Solar Account. Is this possible or would I have to re-type everything?

Hi Anita,

You can use the CSV import/export feature to transfer data between files. Here's what you need to do:

1. Open the old file and click menu File > Export To > Comma Separated CSV File
   2. Tick the types of data you want to copy and click 'Export' and save the CSV file
   3. Edit the CSV file to delete any transactions or customers/suppliers you don't want to transfer
   4. Open the new file and click menu File > Import From > Comma Separated CSV File
   5. Click Browse then select the CSV file, then click 'Import' and check there are no errors
