Can I use Solar to process an invoice from a list of products or services against a list of customers to generate an invoice or is invoicing a case of enter quantity, enter description all manually etc.

Solar Accounts doesn't keep a list of products. You will need to enter quantity, description, etc for each invoice. However, if you choose a description that you have used before from the drop list then Solar Accounts will automatically choose the previous price as the default.
