I would like to put a free text box on my payment notices to allow me to confirm that the payment has been made by BACS with the date.
I can easily add free text fields to the template but there's nowhere to access these on the actual payment notice box that you fill in with all the other details.
Is this at all possible? I have searched the forum to no avail.

Hi David,
You cannot add extra fields to the payment record, but you can include a reference to an existing field in the template text box. For example, if you create a new text box on the payment template and set the text to "Paid by bank transfer on [Date]" it will use the date of the payment when printing this text on the payment notice.
