Within the next 2 weeks we will release a 'beta test' version of Solar Accounts Online with features designed to meet the 'Making Tax Digital for Business' HMRC VAT requirements, including the ability to submit VAT returns directly to HMRC and view your previous returns.

Initially these features will only be available to beta testers. To register as a beta tester just email support@solaraccounts.co.uk including your User ID and the words "Beta Tester" in the subject line. We expect to roll out these features to all users in February.

Note: we do not plan to update the old offline version of Solar Accounts. If you are still running this older version you will need to upgrade to the latest online version to be MTD compliant for VAT returns.

Just to ask whether you are on course to roll out to all users at the end of this month as per your article?

Yes - we are on track to have the MTD features available to all users by the end of February.
