HMRC rules seem to demand my personal NI is paid from a business account. That means I need to record it on Solar somehow. I've read 'How to Record Non-Business Payments'. Under 'Allocate to Account', it says 'This is the account used to track payments to business owners' but where should that be? Is it
a) an asset account, or
b) a liability account or
c) an equity account

Self employed
Hi Peter,
OK in that case in the Allocate To Account field you should enter the
Equity account "Owner's Drawings and Personal Use".
Thanks - that was what I was thinking but I wasn't sure if I could do that or if equity was solely the auditor's domain
