How do i account for car lease payments for a full EV on solar.

That’s for HP this is a lease rental agreement, the car isn’t mine at the end

Sorry I didn't realise that you would not have ownership of the car at the
end of the lease. In your case do you pay a fixed monthly fee for the
lease? Did you also pay a deposit which you expect to get back at the end
of the lease?

Regarding deposit I’m not getting it back and 36 payments.
I know I can claim 50% of vat on monthly payment & deposit & 100% of vat on the monthly maintenance fee
I just need to know how to claim only 50% and what account etc to set up

Yes that's fine - the choice of account is up to you, just make sure it's
an Expense account.
