Applying Pre-Payment to Customer Account

How do I add a customers pre payment to their account so it can be deducted for future work

Hi John,

Just create a Money Received transaction with the Type set to 'Advance
Payment'. Later when you create an invoice for that customer, Solar
Accounts will ask if you want to allocate the advance payment to it - click
'Yes'
