Issue with Supplier Invoice Amount in Solar Accounts

Hi there,

I have raised a supplier invoice and taken it off the system but when I came to reconcile it at the bank I noticed I had submitted the wrong amount for one of our subcontractors. Do you know how I take this off the system. I tried to raise a credit but it wouldn't let me.

Hello Mrs Keeley M Walter,

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by, "I had submitted the wrong
amount for one of our subcontractors". Do you mean that the amount on the
purchase invoice you created in Solar Accounts did not match the amount on
the invoice you received from your supplier? If so, you can just go back
and edit the invoice to correct the amount.

If you get an error message please let me know what it says.

Hi there, it won’t let me edit it as I classed it as being paid accidentally. How can I take the whole transaction off. It’s under the supplier invoice section. I tried to raise a credit but because I have taken it off as being paid it won’t let me raise a credit as I have nothing to Match it up against.

Hi Keeley,

OK if you see a message saying you cannot delete an invoice, open the
invoice and click More Options > Show Payments. Then right-click on the
payment transaction and select Delete. Then right-click on the invoice
transaction and click Delete.

I put the supplier invoice on and have taken it off as being paid but did the taking off by mistake so can I still do what you have suggested and delete this off.

Hi Keeley,

I'm not sure I follow you. What do you mean by "taken it off"? Do you
mean you've already deleted it?

No I mean ive already said it’s been paid and that amount hasn’t.

I'm afraid I still don't follow. Do you mean you've recorded a payment for
the invoice but the amount you paid to the supplier does not match the
amount you recorded in Solar Accounts?
