I started trading Sept 2008 and have been keeping an excel spreadsheet for my book keeping. I'd like to start using Solar Accounts for my book keeping starting now - is there a way to transpose what I've already recorded onto Solar?
Please help.

Hi Christine,
The simplest approach is to pick a 'switch-over date' and enter older transactions into your spreadsheet and newer ones into Solar Accounts. You can go to the Accounts screen and double-click on a row to set the balance for each account on the 'switch-over date'. For example, open the 'Cheque Account' to set your bank balance; open the 'Sales Income' to set your income (as calculated by your spreadsheet).
