when i try to back up my months work and then want to retrieve it as it was saved so i can compare month by month i cannot retrieve it . i have tried time machine and the cloud please help what am i doing wrong

To save your data to a backup file click menu File > Create Backup > On
This Computer.
To restore a backup, click menu File > New > Business > Import From
Existing File, then select the backup file to import. Note that this will
create a new business record containing a copy of your data. To avoid
being charged for 2 businesses at the start of your next monthly billing
cycle, you will need to delete one of the business records. To do that
click menu File > Close, then select the one you want to delete and click
'Remove'
