Hi Jane,

If you were previously using the old desktop version of Solar Accounts you
can upgrade to the online version as described here:
https://www.solaraccounts.co.uk/upgrade

Once you have set up the online version, you should be able to submit your
VAT return as described here:
https://www.solaraccounts.co.uk/help/how-to-prepare-a-vat-return

If you get stuck please let me know what step you reach and what error
message you see.

Hi Mark,

I have the updated version, however the message I receive states that I do
not have access. I followed the instructions to sign up on Tuesday 2nd
April. I haven't had a response from the HMRC yet. Could this be the
problem?

Hi Jane,

Yes that sounds like the problem - you will need to wait for an email from
HMRC saying that they have registered you in their MTD scheme.
