I want to enter our bank details for BACS payments as a permanent feature on our invoices - how can I do this?

Yes - click the 'Free Text' button in the invoice window. Enter your bank details and select 'Use this as the default text on new invoices'.

I have another question. I want to record mileage but not as an expense - It's an odd request but we do the mileage through our tax return rather than paying the owner when he uses his car.

Sorry but Solar Accounts doesn't store your mileage - you will need to record this information outside the program (eg. in a spreadsheet).
