CIS amounts owed to inland revenue

Hi on the CIS payments the amount owed to inland revenue does not come up on supplier list to pay, do you have to just remember to pay by going to accounts ? and what is the best way to pay, general transaction ?
Thanks Martyn

Hello Martyn,

You're correct - the amount owed to HM Revenue and Customs doesn't
affect the supplier list - you have to remember to refer to the 'PAYE
and NI Liability' account.

And yes, it's probably simplest to record the payment to HMRC as a
General Transaction (although it's also possible to record it as a
Money Paid Out transaction with VAT Treatment set to 'Out of Scope').
