Is it possible to amend the field numbers so that automatically show for example INV1 - 2008/2009?

Hi Alan,

Here is our help page on changing the default invoice number:
http://www.solaraccounts.co.uk/help/how-to-change-default-number-sequence.php

Click menu Tools > Setup > Generated IDs, then change the format
column for invoices to:
INV0 - '2008/2009'
(Include the quote marks in the format)

I saw the help page but couldn't get it show INV3-2008/2009, it kept
changing to INV3-8/9.

Will give it a go later tonight.

Just tried it out now and works a treat, many thanks.

Providing my wife is happy using Solar Accounts (she does all the back
office work) I will probably be looking to purchase a licence soon. How
long does the process take if I do it online? Not sure how long I have left
of the trial period.

That's good to hear! When you buy online, you will immediately be
sent an email containing your purchase code with instructions on how
to unlock your trial.
