I've just downloaded the trial version of you software and I can't it to work. All appears to install then when I try to open, it just locks up and wont run. I have to force quit. PLease can you advise me on what I should look at to fix?

I'm not sure the problem is related to OS X 10.8.1 - we are unable to reproduce it on that version of OS X and other users have not reported a problem.
At what stage does the program 'lock up'? That is, do you get to the bouncing icon in the dock? Do you get the Solar Accounts 'sunrays' logo in the center of the screen? Do you get to the Welcome to Solar Accounts page?
Try uninstalling the software by dragging the Solar Accounts icon from the Applications folder to the Trash bin, then re-install from our download page:
